Check Out These Class Projects

I wanted to show you one more notepad that we did at my Handy Dandy Notebook Class held last Friday.  I have wheeled this notepad's cover with the new Friends Stampin' Around Jumbo Wheel, and doing that  makes it look like a background stamp.  (One more way to use your Stampin' Around Wheels.) Can you see the ruffled scallop done in Pink Pirouquette around the Chocolate Chip Wide Oval?  Cute, huh?  Just use the scallop punch on your ruffle on a thin strip of cardstock, I ran the ruffle through my Crimper, thereby making it more pliable to turn corners and bend around this Wide Oval Punched piece.  When the ribbon is untied, there is a pocket tucked inside the front flap to keep your little notes or treasures in.  And there is also a 5" x 7" notepad for keeping all of your important thoughts on.

Handy Dandy Notebook Class

 

This is one of the notebook projects we made in my Handy Dandy Notebook Class that I held last Friday night.  I think this might have been the favorite.  I used Pacific Point cardstock and the very adorable Good Morning Sunshine double-sided designer series paper.  If you look closely, you can see the same blue birdie from the matching Cheep Talk set peeking his head around the corner on the velcro closure tab. 

     

Then on the inside we attached one of Stampin' Up!'s open end envelopes that had been folded in half and stamped (also using the Cheep Talk set) then the ends of the envelope snipped off and a half circle punched, so that coupons, receipts, etc. could be stored here.  On the right side is a small memo pad which we attached with Pacific Point striped grosgrain ribbon, and there is an ink pen also attached in the middle with a smaller piece of ribbon.

Let's Scrapbook

How many of you would like to get into scrapbooking?  And who already scrapbooks and would love to be around more of your fellow scrapbookers to create and share ideas on a regular basis?  If you don't live in the Mt. I am pleased to announce the beginning of my scrapbooking classes.  I would love to hold a scrapbooking class at least once a month,  so I have scheduled the following classes for the next four months.  These will be held on the first Sunday afternoon of each month at my house for now.  At each class you will create a 12" x 12" 2-page layout.   You will be provided all supplies to complete these a 2-page spread, excluding adhesive.  You will need to provide your own adhesive.  In addition, you will also receive two plastic scrapbook page sleeves to put your pages in after completion. 

Class dates will be as follows:

Sunday, April 5, 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 3, 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 7, 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, July 5, 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.
