Are you ready for Valentine's Day? Have you made your sweeties their handmade gifts, homemade candy and goodies that you know they will love? Here are a couple of quick and cute designs for some last minute Valentine's Day gifts.
If you have kids of almost any age, they will love this little chapstick holder. It shuts like a small book and ties with grosgrain ribbon, but when it is opened there is a slot to hold a regular size of any chapstick, lip balm, lip stick. For measurements and directions, you can email me at jan@creativestampingwithjan.com.
Or if you have homemade candy goodies or purchased foil wrapped candy to give, how about this little treat bag? It is made with two Top Note Big Shot die cuts, one Very Vanilla and the other Old Olive. I trimmed a slight bit off of the Very Vanilla piece in order to show the Old Olive as a mat. I punched a slot near the folded edge to run a Certainly Celery ribbon through, then tied in a knot. I then used my FREE Sale-A-Bration Yummy stamp set to make the main image on another scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Then I cut out the Yummy phrase, popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals, punched a small heart out with my Heart to Heart punch of Real Red cardstock, and also popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. Cute, cute!! Who would not enjoy getting and giving this treat? Also if you would like to add "packing" strips, all I did was cut some very thin pieces of Kraft cardstock, run them through my crimper and voila, decorative packing strips! There "a little Yummy for your tummy". (Maybe I was a little skimpy with the chocolates, I probably need to add a few more to this cello bag!)
